We are delighted to announce the winners of the Witch''s House Photo competition 2024! We received so many fantastic entries, and were particularly impressed by the creativity and spookiness of the costumes and pictures this year. Thank you to everyone who visited and took part in a spook-tacular half term Witch's House!
Congratulations to the Fitzpatrick family, winners of the Annual Family Season ticket, who created a chillingly good sense of story telling with photos around the house and grounds (a selection pictured below), reflecting our Roald Dahl strange tales themes.
Our runner up – a little vampire having a 'snack' in the kitchen with an unfortunate victim – and the genuinely shudder-some 'Wer-winner' of the People's Prize, both receive a £20 voucher to spend in our Shop. You can enjoy the other entries on our Facebook @cogges.

Roald Dahl’s strange stories inspired manor house of fun
The Witch’s House welcomed hundreds of visitors to Cogges Manor Farm for October half term. This year's Manor House transformation was inspired by Roald Dahl's strange stories – families enjoyed spooktacular sights and sounds, gloriumptious treats, disgusterous trails and trickery for a frightfully good Halloween.
There was a beastly bat trail, Halloween Paper Crafts, Witches Brew Potion Station, make your own Witches Broom or Magic Wand and spooky storytime. The Witch's House After Dark (one night only) also offered an atmospheric experience with quirky extracts from the most grizzly of Roald Dahl's famous stories, designed for the whole family.
See you next year!
