Nestled in the lovely market town of Witney sits Cogges Manor Farm, a beautiful location for your special day. Your wedding should be as unique as you are, and our stunning 18th century barns provide the perfect blank canvas to create your own, dream wedding. Conveniently located just 10 miles from Oxford, in close reach of the M40 and just 2 hours from London, Witney and the West Oxfordshire area has plenty of accommodation options for you and your guests.

Your wedding hire provides you with sole use of our two adjacent Cotswold barns plus a walled, lawned area for a fire pit or garden games, and under-cover shelter too. Both barns are licensed for civil marriage ceremonies, and we are just next door to St Mary’s, the Cogges Parish Church.
You and your guests are welcome to enjoy the entire site, which extends to 17 acres. Cogges has many charming locations for your wedding photographs, such as the Manor House lawn, the beautiful, ever-changing walled garden and the orchard. Depending on your chosen date, you might be lucky enough to have our stunning wisteria in full bloom as a back-drop.
Cogges is a ‘dry-hire’ venue, giving you the flexibility to dress and furnish the barns to your own specification, and to decide on your own caterers, musicians and other suppliers. We know how much hard work goes into organising and bringing a wedding to life, so Cogges will help you plan your own, truly bespoke wedding, with handy hints and great ideas to help your big day go swimmingly.
A member of the Cogges management team will always advise in case of queries, and over the weekend of your wedding be on hand to ensure your suppliers have timely access in and out, and gates opened to welcome you and your guests.
Our fees include the use of mobile heaters for the cooler months, and the provision of your own security guard for the evening, ensuring everyone stays safe on-site and when leaving at midnight.
Our wedding at Cogges far exceeded all expectations and we can't recommend the venue to other couples enough. Our every request was catered for and the team at Cogges couldn't have been more helpful, both during the planning stages and on the day itself. The Cotswold stone barns looked so beautiful and all of our guests loved the setting and enjoyed spending time in the walled garden. We wanted a relaxed fun filled day and seeing our guests enjoying a BBQ and drink whilst chatting in the sun sitting on hay bales was everything we could have hoped for.
